We are the body of Christ.

We worship sitting cross-legged on the floor, perched on stools or propped up on rattan chairs. We meet not in buildings with steeples on broad, tree-lined avenues, but in the apartment buildings of believers.

We are few in number but in no way lacking in community.

Our children wriggle and squirm, coming and going as they please. We sing praise in four languages. The message about Job is given in two. We relate to his persecution. We understand family abandonment due to a steadfast faith in God. We know what it is like to have your world turned upside down, losing your job or home.

We are family, rich in intimacy. We care and support one another. Sometimes this means financial help or simply a listening ear. We earnestly pray for each other through sickness and persecution.

Who are we? We are a house church — the body of Christ.
