Volunteers with the keyboarding team are asking you to walk along side them and pray specifically in the following ways:
Jennifer-for the children and students to feel God’s love and not think that the story of Jesus is meant only for us. That they would know God’s love is why we are here, not because we are “nice Americans.”
Michelle-We are having a recital on Friday and have asked our students to invite their family and friends…especially non-believers. Pray they actually invite others. As we share the Good News with them, pray they listen, have receptive hearts and we could plant the Word in hearts of family members and friends.
Audra-Be in prayer tomorrow that we spend our time wisely. Pray we seize every opportunity and not look at the minute hand on the clock and watch it tick away while people outside are starving for peace and hope in their lives.
The rest of the team collaboratively shared these requests:
Pat- Ask for the team to finish the week strong. As thoughts begin to move toward home and people get tired physically, spiritually, and emotionally, pray we can stay focused, encourage one another and finish the course that God has marked out for us
George- Pray for Kurt. His return flight was cancelled already and has a meeting on Sunday.
Becca- I feel like a lot of us are in a good groove, but pray that nothing becomes routine and mundane. Pray we expect the unexpected and for our minds to be blown. Continue to pray for sensitivity as the Spirit leads.
Lacey-Praise God, because we’ve seen Him really take care of us this week in the small and big things. Praise the Lord for team unity, safety, joy and health.
